My 1st Stamp a Stack

I had my 1st Stamp a Stack this weekend.  The theme was fall.  I offered 12 cards, 3 each of 4 designs.  It was a great day and the ladies were very happy with the cards they made. Here are the pictures of what we made.
I used the large oval punch to make the pumpkin. We made 3 of this design, using different papers as the backgrounds. The third one, not shown, uses crumb cake paper embossed with the chevron embossing folder.

This set uses Comfort Cafe paper with Night of Navy. We used the Scentsational Bundle for the coffe cup and steam.

I used the Elements of Style stamp set with Rich Razzleberry,
Crumb Cake and Whisper White Paper.

And the last card is my favorite. It turned out exactly the way I pictured it in my heat ~ I love when that happens!!
I used the new woodgrain embossing folder that was inked with Crumb Cake ink before we embossed (thanks to Sue), and the new Wonderfall Stamp set available in the Holiday catalog. I cut out the leaves first using the Big Shot Leaves die, then stamped them with the Wonderfall set. I used Cherry Cobbler Seam binding ribbon across the card.

If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear them. Thanks for looking

Fabulous You

Happy Monday! I made this beautiful card a couple of weeks ago. I've really missed watercoloring. I havent had much time to do it for awhile. I love detailed images and watercoloring all the sections - It amazes me everytime how much they come to life when you're done. I did make another card I will share later this week. But it is for my daycare lady, and I dont want to spoil it by posting the picture before she gets it :).
Also, its hard to tell from the photo, but I used dazzling details on all the flowers - it really sparkles in person.  I really like the gray and yellow color combination. I think this shoe would also be pretty for a bridal shower card TFL! Have a wonderful week.

Bootiful Occasions ~ Witch Boot

This is one of the cards we made at Stamp Camp last week. I love this stamp set!  I can't wait to use all the boots. I used the new Stampin Up Polka Dot paper - I wish this paper came in all the colors.

I stamped the image in Stazon Black ink, then colored in the polka dots with Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Summer Starfruit and Cajun Craze. The ribbon and background paper is Pumpkin Pie. You can't tell from the picture, but the strip in the middle of the boot is filled with glitter.

Have a great week! I would love to hear your comments.

Bootiful Occasions ~ Cowboy

Happy Saturday!
We are heading out to the movies in a couple hours to see Brave ~ I can't wait!!  But I have wanted to post this for a couple days and time got away from me.

One of my boxes of new things arrived last week, and I have been anxious to see some of the DSP packs I ordered and of course the Bootiful Occasions stamp set. As some of you know, I have wanted this set since the 1st day I saw the new catalog - I Love Love Love this stamp set!! I have tons of ideas! If you come to my card classes, you will be seeing a lot of this set. :)

Anyway, one of the DSP packs I ordered was Comfort Cafe, and this beautiful pack of paper was all lined up for me to use several of my flower stamp sets. But when I opened it, the light bulbs were going off. The other side of the paper had such a strong "western" feel. So I had to use the cowboy boot from the stamp set and this what I came up with.

I used the silver mini brads as accents on the boot and my paper piercing tool to add accents to the corners.

I also made a lasso out of my linen thread. I love this linen thread!
Here are a list of items I used:
Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper (Item # 126898)
Bootiful Occasions Stamp Set (Item # 126597 clear)
Sizzix Stars #2 die (retired)
In Colors 2012-2014
Midnight Muse ink & paper
Summer Starfruit paper
Very Vanilla paper
Soft Suede paper
Mini Brads (Item # 122941)
I also used my piercing tool and Mat Pack (Item # 126187)

Thanks for taking a look. Have a great weekend!!

Creative Inspiration

Hello bloggers!
It's been a while since my last post. But I have a lot of things coming up to post, so stay tuned.  I had an interesting evening. I have seen so many people make cards, or projects, from inspiration they find around them. This happened to me today.

I have this bag that my mom bought for me a while ago and I have always loved it. I use it all the time. It was hanging on my door today and the spark went off!  What inspiration - I thought, I bet that would make a beautiful card...here's what I came up with.

The recipe for the card is:
Colors:  Basic Black, Rich Razzelberry, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery, Gumball Green and Perfect Plum
Pearl Basic Jewels (Item 119247)
Little Leaves Sizzlit (Item 114511)
Adorning Accents Edgelits (Item 125595)
Branch section from the Bird Builder Punch (Item 117191)
1 3/4" Scallop Circle (Item 119854)
Spring Bouquet Punch - RETIRED
You could use Boho Blossoms Punch instead (Item 119858) - i dont have yet
Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (Item 118309)
Stamps: In Full Bloom - RETIRED
I only used this stamp because I already had it out so it more for convenience.
Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen (Item 105021)

You can't tell from the picture but I sponged the Little Leaves with white ink then again with Gumball Green ink. On the card they looked textured, but the picture doesnt show that detail.

If you have any questions, please send me an email.
Enjoy!

On the Grow

This card was made using an "older" Stampin' Up set called On the Grow from the 2011 Summer Mini. I fell in love with this set the second I saw it.

I finally got it out again to make a quick birthday card for my cousin. It's just so darn cute!!! The paper is also from last year. It's by My Minds Eye and I think it's called Out and About. I found this paper in my stash of hundreds I have hidden (sshhhh) in my craft room, and it was the perfect fit!

I stamped the image in Stazon black ink and water colored the image with my Stampin' Up markers. Then I paper pieced the seat and the scooter with coordinating paper. I used my nestabilities to cut out the shapes of the image and the words. The front of the card reads 'every day is the perfect adventure'.

Here is the recipe for the card:
Stamps: On the Grow (Summer Mini 2011)

Paper: Pool Party (122924), Confetti White (102028), My Minds Eye (dont know exact info)

Ink: Stazon Black (101406)

Markers: Bashful blue (105111), Tangerine Tango (120974) & River Rock (120972)

Ribbon: SAB - Everyday Enchantment (127279) still available through March 31st for FREE with a $50 order. I love this whole Everyday Enchantment set and have my fingers crossed it will make it to the catalog.

I haven't set up my Stampin' Up website yet, but if you would like to place your order through me, please send me an email to tinaha@msn.com I will be placing an order on March 31st (last day of Sale-A-Bration) and would love to include your order as well. Every order placed through me will receive a special gift directly from me.

Thanks for stopping by!

Flight of the Butterfly

I made this for my upcoming card class at the end of January. I have to say I am a little impressed with how "on top of things" I seem to be this early into 2012. My second post on my blog, updating my splitcoast gallery, and making a card for my card class that isn't until the end of January. This could be a very good thing for me :). I am a major procrastinator and it's a terrible, terrible problem to have. But, I've been that way my entire life. My mom has no idea where I get it from, because she already has her football pool started, easter eggs filled and is already buying Christmas gifts for 2012!! Ok, maybe that's a bit of exageration, but you know what I'm saying. Boy, if I could have inherited just a small portion of that planning gene, who knows where I'd be today.

Anyway, on to the card...I case'd this from splitcoast stampers under Flight of the Butterfly, but am linking you to the details from this blog: http://artfeltimpressions.blogspot.com/2011/09/ccmc-169.html

I used black paper as the card base...the card is standard 5.5 x 4.25, I used Melon Mambo and Whisper White paper. I ran the background piece through my Big Shot using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I stamped the four small butterflies from the Flight of the Butterfly stamps set and cut them out by hand. I mounted each one on a 1 x 1 piece of Whisper White paper and backed them with black that I punched with my postage stamp punch. I also mounted the lower butterfly with a pop dot and used rhinestones in the middle of each as an accent.

I also punched a large butterfly with my butterfly punch for the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by. If you have questions, please email me tinaha@msn.com

Have a great evening.

Baskets & Blooms

Front

Happy New Year to everyone! I know I'm not the only one that can't believe that 2012 is here already! I am always amazed at how fast time goes. On the Dick Clark special last night, they looked back at the previous years entertainment. At one point, I said to my husband, "Oh, I remember that, and it felt like it was from 2 years ago...turns out it was from 10 years ago :( I was very depressed after that! I wish there was a magic fairy dust I could sprinkle on my kids to keep them small for a bit longer - who am I kidding, I would sprinkle it on myself too!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday - we sure did, but the new year is here and I'm ready to start working on my blog and trying to be more active in the things I enjoy, like scrapbooking and making cards and things. I made this adorable box for someone I work with. She always comments on my crafts, and I thought she would enjoy it. Plus I gave her a magnetic pad of paper for Christmas that I thought she would love. It was one of those gifts that you see, and hits you, I have to get this for this person - they will LOVE it. Anyway, I put it on her desk before she came to work and she brought the wrapped gift up and said "OMG I can't wait to see what this is, I know you made this." Uuggghhhh, my heart sank at that very moment...although she did seem to like the pad of paper (which did fit her to a T, I must add). But I can't get the feeling out of my stomach, so tomorrow she will be very excited! Because, this, she will LOVE!!!

I made this using the Bigz XL Baskets & Blooms Die from SU. The paper is SU Pool Party and Early Espresso. I stamped the words with Stazon using a retired set called Favorite Thoughts and punched the flowers with little punches I've had forever. I sponged everything, the box, words and flowers with crumb cake. I cut out the words with my nesties and shredded a bunch of paper that I also crinkled and sent through my crimper to fill the box. I'm going to fill it with some candy and leave it for her tomorrow :) I hope she likes it.

TFL!

Chelsea's 21st Birthday Card

I made this card for my cousin's 21st birthday. She is in fashion school and loves style - this turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. I'm glad to say - she loved the card.
